Postponement - Designing the Future of Healthcare – Nurses Taking the Lead

2021. FEBRUÁR 22. Hírek Oktatás, Tanulmányi Ügyek

19th European Doctoral Conference in Nursing Science

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

Dear PhD Students, Professors and Supervisors,

Concerning the current situation of worldwide spreading coronavirus Covid-19, the Organizing Committee of the 19th European Doctoral Conference in Nursing Science (EDCNS) "Designing the Future of Healthcare – Nurses Taking the Lead" has decided to postpone the conference to September 9th and 10th, 2022.

The EDCNS is intended to offer a platform for international exchange among students and with professors, which we could not guarantee with an online conference.

The Organizing Committee would like to thank you for your understanding and hopes to see you at the EDCNS conference next year!

We are very pleased that the speakers Prof. Linda Aiken and Prof. Mark Pletscher have already confirmed their attendance at the conference next year. A new call for abstracts will be sent out in early 2022.

The EDCNS is a meeting point for PhD students from all over the world and is organized by PhD students in Nursing Science from the Bern University of Applied Sciences (Switzerland), Maastricht University (the Netherlands) and the Medical University of Graz (Austria). The conference provides the opportunity for PhD students to:

  • Present a research project as part of their thesis
  • Learn what is currently happening in nursing science around the world
  • Share experiences and information in the area of nursing research
  • Network with colleagues all over the world
  • Meet the Professors

Yours sincerely,

The Organizational Committee

Silvia Thomann, Caroline Gurtner, Christoph Golz, Niklaus Bernet
